What practices within a classroom impact a boy's sense of belonging?
My research focuses on the practices that impact a boy's sense of belonging. Belonging is significant for students because it impacts their academic engagement, motivation, and overall well-being. To support this research, I am collecting various forms of data to include student work samples, videos, and photographs. I'm looking specifically at how a structured check-in impacts a 5th-grade boy's perception of his belonging in the classroom.
