2018 Journeys to Manhood Speaker Peter Hamby Oct. 4th

Join us on Thursday, October 4 at 7pm​ ​to hear from Peter Hamby, head of news at Snapchat.

In an engaging conversational program, Peter will share his journey​ ​to manhood, from growing up in Richmond to making his way into​ ​the world of journalism with positions at CNN and now Snapchat.​

Peter has covered the past three presidential elections and was a fellow at the Joan​ ​Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy at the John F. Kennedy School​ ​of Government at Harvard University. Among many other accolades,​ he is the recipient of the 2017 Edward R. Murrow Award for his​ ​political coverage on Snapchat. Peter will reflect on his experiences​ ​interviewing some of the world’s most colorful public figures and​ ​discuss how technology and social media have changed the​ ​political landscape of our country and our world.

This community program is FREE and open to the public. The event will be held in Luck Leadership Center Playhouse at St. Christopher’s School. (Map)
