Journeys to Manhood: Boys and Well-Being Oct. 10

Journeys to Manhood Speakers Series on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10 AT 7:00 PM in Memorial Chapel.

The program will focus on Boys and Well-Being and will take place on World Mental Health Day, featuring talks from Dr. Matt Bellace and Jordan Burnham.

More about our speakers: 

Jordan Burnham is the Director of Student Engagement for Minding Your Mind.  He is an accomplished public speaker on mental health and suicide, sharing his powerful story of fighting depression and finding recovery. Jordan has been profiled by Sports Illustrated, PEOPLE Magazine and USA Today. His piece, “Unbreakable,” for ESPN’s E:60 was nominated for an Emmy, and Jordan was interviewed by Anderson Cooper for the 2018 CNN special, “Finding Hope: Battling America’s Suicide Crisis.”

Dr. Matt Bellace has been a youth motivational speaker and stand-up comedian since 1995. Dr. Bellace has a Ph.D. in clinical neuropsychology, is a member of the National Speakers Association and the author of the book, “A Better High.” His “How to Get High Naturally” program encourages over a hundred thousand students a year worldwide to pursue natural highs and make healthy choices.
